Amber turns 8

Amber's 8th birthday was celebrated at Las Vegas Mini Gran Prix. All the family and her friends were there and had great fun on the rides and games. At right is Amber and friend on a ride.

Amber and James are baptized

Amber, our third grandchild, was baptized in April. She was baptized by her brother, Eric, who is a Priest in the Aaronic Priesthood. That was his first time baptizing someone. He also baptized his cousin James, our fourth grandchild, the next month.

We're going to be better at posting

OK. Enough complaining. We give up! We're going to start updating our blog regularly (hopefully often). We have to figure out how to do it first.

We are going to add some things that are not in chronological order but are interesting none the less. Since we have events that happened before the ones already posted, some of our postings will be out of date order.

Amber's School Play

Amber, our third grandchild, participated in her second grade class play. A patriotic theme about the Statue of Liberty. She's the one in the middle with the gray shirt and brown hair. Please forgive the occasional sound of aircraft. The Thunderbirds were practicing.

Grandson Aaron First Walk

This is our 7th grand child attempting his first unassisted walk. All the family were assembled at our home for our monthly combined Family Home Evening. After the dinner and lesson everyone was sitting around visiting when Aaron decided it was his time to walk. 6th gandchild, Weston, also took his first steps at our home.
